  • Co-led disaster preparedness assemblies and safety drills in rural nine schools on two remote islands in aftermath of Cyclone Pam, and during El Niño drought, worked alongside the Vanuatu National Disaster Management Office

  • Established a school technology center with 11 computers and solar intranet, developed introductory curriculum and trained a community member to teach computer courses for middle school students and adults

  • Increased access to English language reading materials for 200 students by collecting and organizing 2,500+ donated books, as well as training a community member to manage library resources

  • Created original lesson plans in English and Bislama with seven local teachers, co-taught over 200 students

  • Facilitated goal and project development as a founding member and Secretary of Malekula Island's first Library Association
